Synovial Disease

Here, inflammatory tissue is being removed with a soft tissue resector. The talus is beneath us, the tibia to our left, and we are looking at the anterolateral compartment of the ankle joint. The soft tissue is resected using a combination of arthoscopic soft tissue resectors, either 3.5 gator resectors, or 3.5 or 2mm full radius resectors. This allows resection of the painful inflammatory tissue.
