About

This site is dedicated to conditions of the ankle joint that are treated by Simon Moyes. Patients can find all the information they need about some of the more common ankle problems, while surgeons and medical professionals can find a range of up-to-date medical resources for anyone involved in or studying ankle arthroscopy.

Arthroscopic surgery treats problems in all the major joints in the body: ankle, knee, hip and shoulder.

Arthroscopy is minimally invasive surgery to a joint, whereby the surgeon makes two tiny incisions known as portals, through which a catheter (tube) is inserted - one with a camera and one with the surgical instruments needed. The portal often doesn’t even need a stitch, leaving minimal scarring after surgery.
